MUAY THAI - ESSENTIALS
At BTMMA, we believe that strong roots grow strong trees. That is why we pay special attention to and focus on the basic essentials of Muay Thai, teaching the proper and most effective way to use your fists, elbows, knees and legs. Originating from Thailand, Muay Thai is regarded as the "Art of eight limbs" and is created around important self defence principles, promising an invigorating whole body workout in the process. Students are taught the traditional Muay Thai essentials, with special emphasis on a steady stance and basic combinations through padwork, bag work and shadow boxing. Each class incorporates a circuit training workout to ensure core muscles are properly strengthened and engaged. BTMMA offers unrivalled and authentic Muay Thai classes for all levels. Zero experience required, beginners welcome.

MUAY THAI - INTERMEDIATE
Building on a strong basic foundation, the intermediate class focuses on more advanced combinations, including clinchwork and techniques. Intermediate classes are of high intensity and require some prior experience. Students are taught new advanced techniques and will be given the chance to apply their skills in light sparring rounds during the class. This class is perfect for the serious martial art enthusiast and anyone looking to compete in Muay Thai. All intermediate level students and fighters are requested to join the Muay Thai Essentials class before other sessions. Please bring your own mouth guard.

MUAY THAI - SPARRING
The Muay Thai Sparring class gives students a taste of how it feels to be in the ring and a chance to utilise their Muay Thai Essential skills. Closely monitored by our Muay Thai coaches, students will be given the chance to sharpen their offence, defence and counter attack skills and technique within several minute rounds in the ring. Students techniques will be critiqued, therefore allowing each student the opportunity to continually improve and further sharpen their skills. How you train will be how you react! Please bring your Mouthguard.

BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU - ESSENTIALS
BTMMA is proud to be the ONLY official affiliate school of Team Perosh in Borneo, under the guidance of Coach Anthony Perosh. All BJJ Classes are taught in line and according to the Team Perosh Syllabus. Whilst we believe anyone can (and should!) do BJJ, we place great emphasis on BJJ essentials and this is reflected in all our classes. Employing ground fighting techniques, involving submission holds with choke holds and joint locks, BJJ teaches students to be as fluid on the ground as they would be on their feet. Each BJJ Class has been designed by Coach Perosh to be relatable for beginners, and equally relevant for the more advanced levels. Gi’s are available for sale.

Some journeys are meant to be taken TOGETHER! We firmly believe that training (and life in general!) is a lot more fun when you do it together. Remember, no one fights alone! BTMMA offers excellent small group sessions catering for groups between 2 to 6 people. Training programs are specifically crafted to ensure that both group and individual goals are met.
